I am the founder, and now former CEO and CTO of Evocative, Inc., a commercial data center operator based in Emeryville, California. Evocative was acquired by 365 Main Inc. (now 365 Data Centers) in July 2013, after 17 years under my direction. The company was created from my determination and entirely organically grown, and I saw it through fair seas and perilous squalls. It was to date my life's work, and I am proud that it caught the attention of respected industry veterans and goes on today with the same excellence and integrity that I strived to make its hallmarks while in my hands.
I am fearless, but not reckless. I have resolve, but I'm not inflexible. I am clear in direction, but able to turn on a dime if what I'm doing isn't working. I see the big picture as clearly as easily as the microscopic. I am demanding, but not... hmmm, I've got nothing there. I'm pretty demanding. But, if you work for me, how I view your performance will probably not be a question in your mind, and if it's favorable, we're both going to feel at ease and enjoy our days.
When not working, I am a Dad and husband for the greatest family in the world. I'm not kidding--you wish your clan was as cool as mine. I'm a Red Cross Disaster Services Volunteer, and recently-retired Emergency Medical Technician and Fire Department volunteer.
I'm also a Maker, remodeler, baker, brewer, cook, and Ham (amateur radio operator).
